Cooking tips

IMPORTANT: Do not defrost at room temperature, in water, or under running water. Never defrost in the microwave. Place in refrigerator to fully defrost 24-48 hours prior to cooking.

American Wagyu Tri-Tip: Perfect to cook over open flame outdoors, this grill masters favorite is commonly seasoned with a dry rub and cooked over wood (of course it’s just as delicious on a gas or propane grill) contributing to a deep flavored, tender cut of beef, enjoyed simply sliced and lightly sauced with your favorite BBQ sauce.

Our American Wagyu Tri-tip can also be prepared indoors by simply seasoning and searing in a heavy bottom pan for 4-6 minutes, fat side down, before flipping and placing it in a 350°F oven for about 25 minutes, or until an instant read thermometer reaches 130° for medium rare.

American Wagyu Tri-tip can also be cut into individual steaks for grilling lending itself to an amazing taco or sliced beef sandwich.

American Wagyu Steaks: This Wagyu Ranch Steak is versatile and lends itself to several cooking methods, with the most popular being grilled, on either gas or propane, or over charcoal and wood. While this cut is well marbled, it is not as highly marbled or dense as Japanese A5, therefore making it easy to grill over an open flame. Season with salt and pepper, or your favorite seasoning, and grill to your desired degree of doneness. Serve this Ranch Steak as you would your traditional steaks, although you’ll find the flavor of this steak far superior to any grocery store steak.

A5 Blend Wagyu Burgers: IMPORTANT: Do not defrost Wagyu at room temperature, in water, under running water or in microwave. Place in refrigerator to fully defrost 48 hours prior to cooking.

Grill your wagyu burger over charcoal*, propane*, or sear in a pan.

*Please be careful to grill your A5 burgers over low to medium flame as flareups can occur due to the high marbling content. Should flareup occur carefully move your burger to an area of your grill with low flame.

We ship orders on Monday and Wednesdays. All orders that ship on Mondays must be placed by Sunday at 11:59pm EST. All orders that ship on Wednesdays must be placed by Tuesday at 11:59pm EST.
