Top chef’s spend hours preparing pork belly, so we made it easy for you. Vacuum sealed and slow cooked (sous vide) for 24 hours with garlic, soy sauce, and ginger, this pork belly delivers a full flavored one of a kind eating experience.
Once completely thawed for 24 hours in the refrigerator (do not thaw in water or in the microwave), remove your fully-cooked pork belly and place in a shallow oven-proof pan in a pre-heated 350°F oven for about 6-8 minutes until the pieces are warmed through. Switch oven to broil and crisp the skin for 2-3 minutes watching carefully for even browning.
Cut into cubes and serve as an appetizer, or slice thin to take burgers to the next level. Serve with your favorite sides like baked beans, red cabbage slaw, mac and cheese or roasted brussels sprouts.
