Cooking tips

IMPORTANT: Do not defrost at room temperature, in water, or under running water. Never defrost in the microwave. Place in refrigerator to fully defrost 24-48 hours prior to cooking.

After you have fully defrosted your Bacon Wrapped Grass Fed Filet Mignon, remove from packaging and lightly blot dry with a paper towel.

We recommend preparing your bacon wrapped filet in a heavy bottomed sauté pan. Set your oven to 450°F and then remove your defrosted filet from the refrigerator and allow to come to room temperature for 20 minutes. Pat filet dry with a paper towel and secure bacon slice with a toothpick or butcher’s twine. Season filet with salt and cracked black pepper. Heat pan over medium high heat and add 2 Tbsp. oil (or 1 Tbsp. oil and 1 Tbsp. butter). Sear filet 1-2 minutes on each side before transferring to an oven proof tray and placing in preheated oven. Cook filet in oven for approximately 6-8 minutes or an instant read thermometer reading 125°-130° for medium rare. Allow filet to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

These shrimp are perfectly sized for your favorite pasta, or a compliment to your steak for a surf ‘n’ turf.

Simply heat your pan over medium heat, add 2 Tbsp. of oil. Season your shrimp with salt and pepper, as desired, and add to your pan, cooking shrimp 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and enjoy, or add other ingredients such as spinach, tomatoes, and pasta to your pan for a complete meal.

This SPG seasoning blend will certainly work well as a general all-purpose seasoning for all your meats and seafood prior to cooking but is blended and designed to act as a “finishing spice”- Season and cook your meat or seafood- whether you choose simply salt and pepper, or to use your SPG mix. Once finished cooking we suggest sprinkling your cooked meats with SPG blend to add an extra level of flavor to compliment, not overpower, the natural flavors of your food.

This Chefs blend of Salt, Pepper and Garlic (SPG), takes it one step further with the use of Himalayan Pink Salt, Lampong Peppercorns, and Toasted Garlic. Himalayan Pink Salt is a very pure salt, offering a slight floral flavor; Lampong Peppercorns offer a slightly spicy note with hints of citrus. Toasted Garlic delivers the much loved garlic flavor with a mellower sweeter finish. This bold trio of spices will add a nuanced flavor to your steaks and seafood and will work equally well to enhance your side dishes.

White Truffle Butter: Fresh cream, pure grade AA butter blended with Urbani Family Italian autumn white truffles.

Himalayan Pink salt is hand mined in the foothills of The Himalayan Mountains, an area that was underwater millions of years ago.

Lampong Pepper comes from the Lampong Province in Southern Sumatra, Indonesia where it has been grown and harvested for thousands of years.

Our garlic is grown, toasted, and ground domestically in the United States.

Butter: Our flavor enhancements are sourced from the USA. All clean-label and follow sustainability standards.
